NEW TAP FLIGHTS TO BOA VISTA START

Portuguese flagship airline TAP Air Portugal from Tuesday will start flying to Boa Vista island, in Cape Verde, offering two flights a week directly from Lisbon.

Boa Vista island is now TAP’s fourth Cape Verdean destination. The airline offers 15 flights per week in low season to the West African archipelago and 17 flights a week in the high season.

So far the island only had air links to the Portuguese capital with two charter flights per week provided by Cape Verdean airline Transportadora Aérea de Cabo Verde (TACV).

TAP Air Portugal has been flying to Cape Verde for 49 years and the archipelago is the airline’s second most popular African destination, after Angola.
